We are Ashley and Phillip Colhouer and 13:13 is the company that we created in order to blend our creative and professional lives.

We’re a friendly, laid-back team with a style we like to call
“Boutique Wedding Photography” which is all about capturing fun and romantic moments in a fresh and exciting way. We believe the best moments are unscripted, this is what we try to anticipate and capture.

To dig a little deeper, my passion for photography originally led me to shoot in the fashion industry, while Phillip continued his studies of design. We shot our first wedding as a favor for a friend and the rest is history.

We absolutely love what we do and couldn’t be more grateful that we’ve been blessed to be able to make a living doing so.

On a more personal note…

Why 13:13 you ask? 1 Corinthians 13 was the Bible verse read at our wedding and has pretty much become the philosophy in which we strive to live our lives. We have been together for over 6 years and happily married for over 2. We live with our 5 adorable little Shih Tzu’s (Phoebe, Atari, Kabuki, Yentl, and Lotus) and just welcomed the arrival of our beautiful little girl Nylin Lilly Colhouer,
July 20th 2008...talk about a blessing!

Belated Post {Birthday!}

I have tons of blogging to do but this one definitely couldn’t go unmentioned. My birthday was a few weeks ago and let me just say that I’m one lucky girl!  :)
I came home from running errands to a BEAUTIFUL flower arrangement (from mom & dad) sitting at my door and a delicious fruit arrangement from Irene and Fern (one of our clients!) as well as many cards and sweet messages via Facebook and email. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone that contributed to making my birthday so special!

Daryl - Happy (I'm sure now very) belated birthday!! The invites are almost done and I can't wait until you get your copy. I hope you enjoy how we used the pics from the e-shoot! P.S. Your family is so adorable!

Irene - Finally!! lol. I'm not big on fruits but that looks yummy! The flowers are amazing and Nylin just gets cuter by the day.. Phillip - Stop trying on Nylin's socks.. they leave marks on your ankles. =)

Taylor - I love Irene! That was so super nice of them, and your flowers are GORGEOUS. Happy Birthday (again!)

Alison - Phillip, you should've worn your purple leggings to hide those hairy legs!
