We’re back down in the Keys for Tammy and Alberto’s wedding at Hawk’s Cay Resort in Duck Key. This was our first time at Hawk’s Cay so we were excited to get the chance to shoot there!
I mentioned this in their engagement session post but I’ll mention it again, Tammy is a refound friend and its always a blessing to reconnect plus being the one to capture their wedding day only made it that much sweeter. :)
Because their ceremony was held near Sunset (and why wouldn’t you, you’re in the Keys!) they chose to do a first look prior to the ceremony so that we could capture some portraits and make use of the beautiful resort.
I’m really glad they went this route, because their first look was super sweet and we captured the family portraits ahead of time so that everyone could go and enjoy themselves right after the ceremony ended.
Tammy, Alberto and Mariel from Events by Mariel did a wonderful job planning and adding just the right amount of vintage-y touches like Tammy’s stunning bird-cage veil, mason jars, letterpressed wishing tree, and rice paper parasols, just to name a few.
The rest of their day was simply perfect and a continued celebration. Tammy and Alberto we can’t thank you enough for finding us (again) and letting us capture your perfect day. We wish simple happiness and look forward to future sightings.
Another special thank you to Sarah Morris for her wonderful talents, images and vision!
