Stacey and Dustin had the wonderful idea to have their wedding on a yacht. Their wedding was in Fort Lauderdale on the Biscayne Lady. Much of their family came in from out of town, so the weekend had sort of a destination feel, with a welcome dinner and beautiful sunset ceremony on the top level of the yacht.
We had such a great time with Stacey and Dustin. Their warmth and fun is infectious which you can clearly see in some of their fauxto-booth shots. (Dustin officially wins the best “blue steal” award!)
We always throw the offer out there to assist our brides with any wedding planning or design advice since we see a lot of weddings and stalk more than a lot of wedding blogs. All we did this time was point Stacey to etsy.com and she took the ball and ran with it. She did such a great job finding cute and unique details such as the button bouquets and fabric boutonnieres. Stacey also enlisted the help of our resident “do-it-yourself-crafty-things-maker” Sarah of Sarah Elisabeth Designs… who made the fabric arch detail, aisle decor, paper flowers, grooms cake and fauxto-booth backdrop!
We heart this couple big time and look forward to our post-wedding mexican outing!
Stacey and Dustin, thank you for choosing us and allowing us to be apart of your special day.
