brandon + marnie {married!}

Marnie and Brandon came down from Mobile, Alabama to get married in Miami at the beautiful Coral Gables Congregational Church with their reception at the Epic Hotel.

This was such a fun group of people! I think Shannon from Liquid DJ’s said it best in his grand entrance announcement. “Outside is a line of beautiful latina’s escorted by some handsome gringos” :) Truly a marriage of cultures and families!

Karla {from Stylish Events} and her sister kept the day running smoothly as always and if you haven’t seen Jorge Manuel’s wedding dresses you should stop what your doing and check out his site now. Uh-mazing!!!

Marnie and Brandon, your kindness, warmth, fun-spirit and love for each other was such a joy to be around. Thank you so much for choosing us and we hope our paths cross again in the future!

elizabeth + david {married in New Orleans!}

You may recognize David and Elizabeth from their fun engagement session in NYC. They’re now married!

Phillip and I traveled to New Orleans a few weeks ago to document their elegant wedding weekend. We were fortunate enough to arrive a day early to capture their exquisite rehearsal dinner at the beautiful Latrobes located in the heart of the French Quarter. This also allowed time to visit the famous Cafe du Monde for beignets and coffee! Yum!

David and Elizabeth were married at the beautiful First Presbyterian Church by their pastor from New York followed by the reception at the New Orleans Board of Trade. The perfect venue for their 500+ guest list!

I’ll be honest here, I was a bit obsessed with Elizabeth’s Monique Lhuillier dress that actually looked like it was made. for. her! And the bouquets… I love the combination of the lamb’s ear and mint (as well as the beautiful flowers of course)! They smelled amazing!

David and Elizabeth, it was such an honor to be there for your wedding! We wish you so much happiness and many many blessings!

Happy Friday!
Mike and Marissa are super talented artists from Philly who celebrated their nuptials right here in sunny S. Florida!

They scheduled time for a sweet first-look prior to the ceremony (we’re always a fan of this!) which allowed plenty of time for fun portraiture before events of the wedding started. They also opted to have the fauxto-booth during the reception with a backdrop made by Marissa. — she also made the arbor and asile decor! We’ve had the privilege of working with some pretty funny characters in our fauxto-booth lately!

We had such a great time capturing this day. Marissa and Mike you are easily adored and we wish you a lifetime of happiness together.

So I know this is a little delayed but I just had to post this!

Phillip and Nylin celebrated their Yo Gabba Gabba themed birthday party a few weeks ago. I found the cute character cut-outs on Etsy and Sarah, our friend, nanny extraordinaire and super creative, crafty do-it-yourself-er (soon to be collaborating with 13:13!) made the awesome cake from scratch!

Veronica + Chris said I Do on a beautiful June afternoon in Miami. Gorgeous, fun-loving people, a good sense of humor and the union of 2 awesome people = the perfect recipe for a super fun night!

The reception was truly a celebration from start to finish. This was easily one of the busiest and funnest Fauxto-booth’s we’ve had with a steady rotation of dance floor + bar + Fauxto-booth. Phillip even got in on the action. :)

Chris and Veronica, thank you for bringing us in on your special day, we truly had a blast and wish you all the happiness in the world!

Yay for another destination wedding!!
Jennifer and Eric booked us to shoot their wedding shortly after we returned from shooting Kristin and Ted’s wedding in Jamaica last year.
They had their ceremony and reception at the beautiful Rockhouse Hotel (seriously gorgeous!) in Negril.

To say this was a fun bunch of people is definitely an understatement! The dancing started as soon as everyone entered the reception area and NEVER stopped! :)

Jennifer and Eric your wedding, family and friends were as beautiful and adventurous as your destination. We can’t thank you enough for bringing us to paradise and along for the ride.

blake + megan {just for fun!}

Last weekend I had the pleasure of participating in a styled wedding shoot. It was a fun collaboration between my friends Daniel, Stephanie, Megan and myself. Blake and Megan did an awesome job modeling for us and I’ve decided that Stephanie just needs to take on styling full-time!

With the help of a few friends Stephanie transformed her backyard area into a beautiful, rustic, faux-wedding. Her keen eye for detail was super impressive! Unfortunately the shoot was cut short due to rain which was bitter sweet, that just meant we got to eat the delicious desserts!

As an added bonus our friend Lydia came out to shoot with us! FUN!
